While living in the United States, I was astonished to find people throw away stuff into their front yard instead of properly disposing their goods or electronics. This made it hard to walk around the block some times, and it is rather grim that most things people throw away either have an easy fix or just need a little clean up.
With this piece I aimed to remind people by my neighborhood, near Seaside Park (where you find this specific trash can with the words "KEEP PARKS CLEAN") of their consuming habits and nudge them to be mindful of what they choose to bring into their lives and be mindful of how they dispose their possessions when the time comes.
